Pokemon x Vandy the Pink

For Vandy the Pink’s collaboration with Pokémon, I was tasked to lead a content strategy that aimed to spark excitement around the product collection by blending nostalgia with bold, modern visuals.

Strategy: A large goal was to maximize hype and drive conversions from this release, so the team and I took an approach to researching user generated social media content from previous launches of these products. From our findings, the best approach was by blending the old generation and new generation of Pokemon fans, through a "Pokémon Trainer" styled rollout inspired by Gen Z's affinity for 2000s anime and digital/fashion culture.

Execution: Produced custom photography and designed Instagram posts that mimicked in-game entries, turning each model into Pokemon Trainers and each item into a collectible moment.

Results: The result was a viral response: over 100K impressions on a single post, immediate product sellout, and a measurable increase in brand loyalty and continued follower engagement. Also a widespread of fans asking for more!
